Update released in China

Xiaomi has begun rolling out the stable release of HyperOS 3.1 to its latest flagship phones in China. Following a beta programme that kicked off in January, the final update is now available for several current models - the entire Xiaomi 15 series plus the foldable MIX Flip 2.

Supported devices and firmware versions

At present, the stable HyperOS 3.1 release has been issued for:

  • Xiaomi 15 - OS3.0.301.0.WOCCNXM;
  • Xiaomi 15 Pro - OS3.0.301.0.WOBCNXM;
  • Xiaomi 15S Pro - OS3.0.301.0.WODCNXM;
  • Xiaomi 15 Ultra - OS3.0.301.0.WOACNXM;
  • Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 - OS3.0.301.0.WOHCNXM.

Performance and system app changes in HyperOS 3.1

With HyperOS 3.1, Xiaomi says it has reworked several key system apps and removed some legacy code to reduce overall system load. According to the company, this should lead to quicker app launches, a more responsive interface, and lower power use during multitasking - particularly on devices using the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Hyper Island and HyperConnect upgrades

The Hyper Island feature has also been noticeably enhanced. It now integrates with Android Live Notifications and can show real-time, dynamic alerts at the top of the display - such as delivery progress, music playback, or timers.

In addition, Xiaomi has refined HyperConnect, the feature responsible for linking Xiaomi phones with other brand devices. Inter-device connections are expected to be faster and more stable.
