TCL unveils Max163M and Max163M Pro 163-inch MicroLED TVs for 36 000 and 50 000 dollars

TCL has unveiled two new 163-inch (414 cm) MicroLED televisions with an oversized display: TCL Max163M and TCL Max163M Pro.

TCL Max163M MicroLED: specifications

The TCL Max163M is rated for XDR brightness of 10 000 nits and a colour depth of 3×22 bit+. It uses more than 24.88 million inorganic self-emissive diodes. Inside, TCL has fitted a quad-core system-on-chip based on Cortex-A73 cores, along with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in flash storage. Connectivity includes four full HDMI 2.1 ports. The set weighs 190 kg.

TCL Max163M Pro: 4K and 120 Hz

The TCL Max163M Pro comes in a broadly similar configuration, but it stands out by supporting 4K resolution as well as a 120 Hz refresh rate. Its weight is 218 kg.

Prices and other TCL announcements

The new models are priced at 249 999 yuan and 349 999 yuan, which is 36 000 and 50 000 dollars respectively.

TCL also introduced significantly more affordable televisions in the T7M Pro SQD-MiniLED range.
