Huawei has kicked off worldwide sales of its flagship Huawei Mate 80 Pro. The handset was previously unveiled in China in November 2025.

Display, cameras and battery

The smartphone features a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 2832 × 1280-pixel resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is rated at 3000 nits, with 1440 Hz PWM dimming and 300 Hz touch sampling also supported. The screen is protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass.

Huawei has not officially disclosed the system-on-chip used in the global version. In China, the device comes with the Kirin 9030 Pro paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage - the same memory configuration is available internationally.

On the rear, the main camera system combines a 50 MP sensor with a variable f/1.4–f/4.0 aperture, a 40 MP ultra-wide module, and a 48 MP telephoto unit that also offers macro capabilities. It supports 4× optical zoom, up to 100× digital zoom, and 8K video recording. The 13 MP front camera can capture 4K video.

The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is rated to IP68 and IP69 standards and includes Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. It also supports 3D facial unlocking and a fingerprint scanner. A 5750 mAh battery powers the phone, with 100 W wired fast charging and 80 W wireless charging.
