Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max launch in the US and Germany

Xiaomi has started selling the cordless Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max in additional markets - the United States and Germany. The model is priced at 324 dollars and 400 euros respectively, which makes it fairly expensive for a handheld vacuum. Even so, the company is clearly positioning it to take on Dyson devices - in terms of design, the new model genuinely resembles their products, including the visible cyclones.

Filtration and suction performance

The vacuum comes with a multi-stage filtration system which, according to Xiaomi, captures 99.98% of fine dust. Suction power is stated at 280 Air Watts and 25,000 Pa.

Runtime, automatic mode and included attachments

Xiaomi claims up to 90 minutes of use in energy-saving mode. When using the electric floor brush, runtime drops to 70 minutes.

To make day-to-day cleaning easier, Xiaomi has added an automatic mode where a built-in dust sensor adjusts suction power on its own. The level of dirt is shown via colour indication. The floor brush also has a light so dust is easier to spot in darker areas, and there is a dedicated attachment for removing pet hair.
