Xiaomi has officially confirmed that, following the adoption of a new national standard for portable power banks, it intends to release six upgraded gadgets that will fully meet every requirement of the updated rules.

Five of the six new products come with built-in cables, while one is designed as a slimmer device.

The mandatory national standard, “Safety technical specifications for mobile portable power banks”, was published on 3 April 2026 and will come into force on 1 April 2027.

According to Xiaomi’s official information, the 2026 version uses a completely new safe battery cell that has passed 15 new tests under national standards. It features a next-generation battery along with 12 protection systems.

In addition, the 2026 version introduces intelligent management that can read battery status information; the stand is freely adjustable and can be attached using magnets or a cable.

The new power banks support 33 W wired output power, 15 W wireless output power, and 30 W input power, and they can charge up to three devices at the same time.
