Alongside its flagship Find N6 foldable smartphone, Oppo has officially introduced the flagship Oppo Watch X3, a smart watch with an expanded set of health-monitoring tools. The new model keeps the same round styling as the previous generation, while becoming 6.4% thinner and 16% lighter.
Design and display
The Oppo Watch X3 uses a TC4 titanium alloy case, a material commonly used in aerospace and medical applications. The screen is covered with sapphire crystal, and the display itself is a 1.5-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. Compared with the prior model, peak brightness is up by 36% and now reaches 3,000 cd/m².
The case measures 47.4 mm in diameter and 11.0 mm in thickness, with a weight of 43 g.
Battery, charging and protection
Despite the smaller body, the battery capacity is unchanged at 646 mAh. Oppo claims up to 3 days of heavy use, up to 5 days in standard use, and up to 16 days in power-saving mode. A full charge takes 75 minutes.
The watch is protected to an IP69 rating.
Health monitoring, sport and connectivity
The main upgrade is the sensor package. Oppo Watch X3 can track glucose levels in real time and alert users to potential abnormalities. It also supports blood-pressure monitoring and an assessment of hypertension risk. In addition, the watch retains ECG recording, heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, vascular health metrics, skin temperature measurement, sleep analysis, and sleep apnoea detection.
For exercise, there are more than 100 workout modes. Navigation is built in, using dual-band GPS alongside BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS. Connectivity includes eSIM (with an integrated LTE modem), dual-band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
The hardware platform is based on the Snapdragon W5 SoC, although Oppo has not yet specified whether this is the standard version or the newer W5 Gen 2.
Price starts at $320
In China, the Oppo Watch X3 is already available to pre-order. Pricing starts at CNY 2,210 ($320) and goes up to CNY 2,800 ($405).
