Vivo T5x 5G goes on sale 24 March with 7200 mAh battery from $200

Vivo has unveiled the affordable T5x 5G, an evolution of last year’s model. The handset has been noticeably upgraded: it is no longer just a budget phone with next-generation network support, but a more well-rounded option with a clear focus on performance and battery life.

Vivo T5x 5G display, chipset and software

The new model comes with a 6.76-inch FHD+ display and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Powering it is the Dimensity 7400 Turbo system-on-chip, which can score more than 1 million points in AnTuTu. The smartphone runs Android 16 with Origin OS 6.0 and will receive updates for 2 years, while security patches are promised for 4 years.

Battery, charging and protection

The headline feature is a 7200 mAh battery with 44 W charging support. Vivo also lists IP68 and IP69 water resistance.

Cameras and pricing

On the back, the main camera is 50 MP, accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor, while the front-facing camera is 8 MP. Sales begin on 24 March, with prices starting at $200.
