According to 9to5Google, Google is preparing to launch a new wearable device called Fitbit Air. It is a screenless fitness band that is expected to be marketed as a direct rival to Whoop-style products.

The Air name points to the device’s slim, lightweight design. Fitbit has previously used the same kind of “Air” naming within its accessories range.

Fitbit Premium to be renamed Google Health

The software and subscription approach is also set to change. Fitbit Premium is expected to be rebranded as Google Health, while the AI coach features will be separated into a dedicated service called Google Health Coach.
